HSM exists from a foundational conviction:
Jesus Christ is Lord — and our health, our bodies, our choices, our resources, and our service to others all belong beneath His lordship.
We believe biblical wellness is about more than food, exercise, or physical outcomes.
It is ultimately about stewardship.
Our bodies are gifts entrusted to us by God. Our health can influence our capacity to worship, serve, lead, care for our families, fulfill our responsibilities, and participate in the work God has given us to do.
Scripture reminds believers:
“Do you not know that you[c] are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16
Our desire is therefore not simply to help Christians become healthier.
Our deeper desire is to help believers increasingly bring the stewardship of body, mind, appetite, habits, and daily choices beneath the truth and lordship of Jesus Christ.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to educate, encourage, equip, and serve believers, Christian health professionals, churches, pastors, and ministries with resources that integrate biblical truth with practical health stewardship.
We desire to help Christians move beyond temporary motivation toward renewed thinking, responsible choices, sustainable habits, and a deeper understanding of the body as God’s temple.
We believe genuine transformation cannot be reduced to a program, product, diet, or human methodology.
- Tools can educate.
- Resources can encourage.
- Coaches can support.
- Communities can strengthen.
But ultimately, Jesus Christ is our Savior, the Word of God is our foundation, and the Holy Spirit is our Guide.
Our resources are intended to serve that greater reality — not replace it.
OUR VISION
We envision believers increasingly awakening to the truth that caring for the body is not merely a cultural pursuit of appearance or longevity.
It can become an act of stewardship.
We envision Christian health coaches equipped to serve with biblical conviction, wisdom, compassion, and excellence.
We envision pastors and churches having practical resources that help their congregations address health without shame, condemnation, or worldly obsession.
We envision communities where physical wellness and spiritual formation are not treated as disconnected subjects.
We envision believers learning to examine appetites, habits, emotional patterns, and cultural influences through the light of truth.
And we envision healthier believers becoming increasingly available to love, serve, lead, disciple, give, and fulfill the purposes God has entrusted to them.
How We Desire to Serve the Body of Christ
We do not view churches merely as a market.
Pastors are not distribution channels.
Christian health coaches are not merely referral sources.
Believers are not prospects.
They are people Christ loves and members of the Body He is building.
Therefore, when we approach a church, ministry, coach, or individual, our first question should not simply be:
“What can this relationship do for us?”
We want to ask:
“How can we help strengthen what God is already doing through you?”
- We desire partnership rather than exploitation.
- Collaboration rather than competition.
- Equipping rather than dependency.
- Service rather than self-promotion.
- And truth spoken in love.
Our Commitment to Truth
Because our message concerns both faith and health, integrity matters deeply.
- We will strive never to use Scripture as a sales technique.
- We will not intentionally use guilt, shame, fear, or spiritual pressure to manufacture a response.
- We will strive to distinguish biblical truth from our own preferences and health education from promises we cannot responsibly make.
- We will remain teachable.
- We will correct what needs correction.
And we will continually seek wisdom about how to serve responsibly.
Our faith should not make our standards lower.
It should call us toward greater truthfulness, greater excellence, greater compassion, and greater accountability.
Our Relationship With Business and Money
We desire HSM to become financially strong and sustainable because sustainability expands the ability to serve.
Healthy revenue can help us develop resources, support people, improve programs, equip churches and coaches, expand outreach, practice generosity, and carry the mission forward.
But we establish this boundary:
The mission will not serve money.
Money will serve the mission.
- We will pursue financial fruit without making money our master.
- We will pursue growth without making growth our identity.
- We will pursue excellence without worshiping achievement.
And as provision increases, our prayer is that generosity, service, responsibility, and Kingdom impact will increase with it.
The Standard We Desire to Live By
In our decisions, relationships, programs, products, partnerships, and growth, we continually return to these commitments:
ABIDE: Remain in Christ before attempting to produce fruit for Christ.
SURRENDER: Hold plans, opportunities, resources, and outcomes with open hands.
OBEY: Act upon truth rather than merely admiring it.
SERVE: Remember the people behind every program, partnership, and number.
STEWARD: Manage time, health, relationships, money, opportunities, and resources faithfully.
EXAMINE: Continually ask whether our methods reflect the character and truth we proclaim.
RELEASE: Work diligently while returning outcomes to God.
OUR PRAYER
Father, everything we have belongs to You.
Use this work however You desire.
- May every resource we create tell the truth.
- May every promise we make have integrity.
- May every partnership honor You.
- May every person we serve be treated with dignity.
- May every dollar entrusted to this mission be stewarded wisely.
- May generosity increase as provision increases.
- If You prosper this work greatly, keep us humble.
- If You grow it slowly, keep us faithful.
- If You redirect it, keep us obedient.
Protect us from ever allowing work done for Your Kingdom to replace our relationship with the King.
Teach us to abide in Christ before attempting to produce fruit for Christ.
- May healthier bodies become better-stewarded temples.
- May renewed minds produce transformed choices.
- May Christian health professionals become faithful servants.
- May churches become communities of truth, grace, stewardship, and wholeness.
And through everything we do, may Jesus Christ be made known.
- This ministry is not our lord.
- Success is not our lord.
- Money is not our lord.
- Recognition is not our lord.
- Jesus Christ is Lord.
We are servants and stewards.
“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” — Romans 11:36
